Global Data Quality (GDQ) initiative welcomes Intellus Worldwide

Organization brings valued expertise on data quality in the health insights and analytics industry

GDQ is pleased to welcome a new partner to its growing coalition: Intellus Worldwide, the premier not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the field of health insights and analytics. A trusted partner to pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device and diagnostic companies—as well as the insights partners who support them – Intellus Worldwide delivers value through advocacy, professional development, and a robust network of industry leaders. Intellus activated a Data Integrity Task Force in 2024 to address data quality issues that impact the health insights and analytics industry.

“This is a major milestone for Intellus, paving the way for deeper alignment with GDQ organizations in our shared mission to combat survey fraud and improve data quality across our industry. With new resources and an existing benchmark framework, the Data Integrity Task Force will be able to follow through on goals to create and share healthcare data quality benchmarks and standards. Another benefit now available to Intellus members, the GDQ Data Quality Excellence Pledge is something I urge all quality-driven organizations to pursue. Together we can make a difference,” Michael Wildt, Owl Solutions and Intellus Worldwide Data Integrity Task Force Chair.

“The momentum behind the Global Data Quality Initiative continues to build. With organizations like Intellus joining the effort, we’re seeing growing recognition of the industry-wide need for collective action,” said Rachel Alltmont, President of SampleCon. “Data quality is a shared responsibility — not a competitive advantage. Cross-sector collaboration ensures that the insights we produce are not only accurate, but also ethically grounded and truly representative. This is the moment for unified leadership. The strength of our insights relies on a shared commitment to building trust in research and analytics worldwide.”

About the Global Data Quality Initiative

Founded in 2023, the Global Data Quality Initiative (GDQ) is a coordinated global effort to address persistent and emerging risks to data quality across market and social research, consumer insights, and analytics. GDQI brings together leading research organizations including:

ESOMAR, Insights Association, The Market Research Society (MRS), Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA), SampleCon, The Research Society (Australia), Canadian Research Insights Council (CRIC), Association for Qualitative Research (AQR), Association of Market Research Austria (VMÖ), International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC), Global Research Business Network (GRBN), and now, Intellus Worldwide. Together, GDQ and its partners are driving change by creating resources, encouraging standards adoption, and uniting the industry around a shared mission: data you can trust. Since it was announced in March 2025, nearly 200 organizations have signed the GDQ Data Quality Excellence Pledge. The Pledge establishes a shared baseline for data quality practices, enabling buyers to identify quality signals and fostering a culture of accountability. https://www.globaldataquality.org
